Handheld GM detector. The amount of radiation is indicated by flashing LEDs and the well-known Geiger counter rattling.
A very user-friendly and affordable device. It has been developed for the initial or more field-oriented work on radioactive radiation, where you don't need a count but just an indication of if something like radioactive minerals emit little or much radiation.
However, the detector can be connected through a Cable, modular - Jack (item No. 512560 - not included) to e.g. a GM counter 513610 (or previous model 513600) - or Pasco's digital adapter PS-2159.
Incl. 9V battery.
