The battery box is used as a power supply for e.g. Frederiksen’s microphones with modular connectors when they are connected to equipment that does not provide a voltage for this. Typical examples are the use of microphones (248600 or 251570) with an oscilloscope or an AC voltmeter.
(On the other hand, e.g. 200280 Student Timer or 197570 SpeedGate do provide a voltage for the microphones – in this case, a battery box is not needed.)
A cable with modular plugs is included.
The battery box turns on automatically when connected through the modular socket. This is indicated by an LED. Don’t forget to remove the plug from the socket when the equipment is no longer used. The analog signal is accessed through the two 4 mm safety sockets.
A 9 V battery is included.
