Mechanical encoder with 20 positions pr. rotation. Supplied from 3-5 V (Vcc) and ground (GND and C).
Before use, the provided 3 pins and 2 pins headers are soldered to the module.
The two outputs A and B have rest level high, and changes briefly to low once per “click”. The signals are out of step; the exact sequence reveals which way the encoder turns (see drawing). CW = ClockWise, CCW = Counter-ClockWise. The module is provided with debouncing circuits on the outputs.
Arduino compatible (5 V). micro:bit compatible (3 V).
